Patrick Ryan
On November 21st, 2010 I
said goodbye to my sweet little gentleman, Patrick Ryan after a
long battle with his health, he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
He will be missed so very much. The photo above was taken in
September 2010 at the 2nd Annual Pawsibilities Unleashed where
he did a demo and showed off his excellent obedience skills in
Rally Obedience. Thank you Dani Plake for this wonderful profile
photo of my beautiful blue boy!
 In May 2009, Patrick Ryan received 2 legs in Rally Novice then in
June 2009 at the Dog Show in Gridley, CA, Patrick Ryan received his
Rally Novice Title and 2 Legs in Rally Advanced.
He retired from Flyball Racing
and Agility in 2008. In 2008 and up through 2010 Patrick was
experiencing hearing loss and had
Canine Cognitive Dysfunction (Doggy Alzhiemers). However, in spite
of his aging challenges, he continued learning new tricks and
complex obedience
maneuvers! Patrick would have been 11 years old in December 2010
Patrick Ryan (aka Tiger Rag's Tag "Paddy") is from long-time
Sheltie Breeders and Judges, Carl & Patty Skinner of Homewood
Shelties, Placerville, CA - who I highly recommend, respect and
care for deeply. They breed beautiful quality show dogs (Tri's &
Merle's) and it is a special privilege to own 2 of their
beautiful Shelties!
